National Library of Estonia
The SecuriFire alarm system has been chosen to protect Estonia’s National Library in Tallinn, which is currently undergoing a major reconstruction.
This Project is the most high profile yet in a number of prestigious projects won by Securiton’s Estonian partner Optimus Systems AS, using SecuriFire system.
Considered one of the most important public institutions for the preservation and communication of Estonian culture, the renovated National Library will house elements of the National Archives currently scattered all across Tallinn, serving as an educational center open to everyone.
Fire safety will be ensured by highly sensitive SecuriSmoke aspiration systems, various air duct detectors and more than 3’000 addressable multicriteria smoke and heat detectors, which are controlled by a fully redundant and networked SecuriFire fire alarm system. Securiton and Optimus Systems are proud to have been selected as a supplier for this prestigious project.
