Montevideo Legislative Palace protected by SecuriFire

The Legislative Palace is a building constructed between 1908 and 1925 in Montevideo, capital of Uruguay. It was inaugurated on August 25, 1925 to mark the 100th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence. It is the headquarters of the Uruguay Legislative, the General Assembly, which consists of two chambers – the Chamber of Deputies and the Senate – that work separately or jointly according to the circumstances.

The Palace was designed by architect Vittorio Meano and built by G. and M. Debernardi. The decoration of the building was the responsibility of the architect Gaetano Moretti. In 1975 it was declared a National Historical Monument. Securiton, through its representative Selectron Ltda., protects this beautiful building with a SecuriFire 3000 system comprising MCD 573 multi-criteria detectors and ASD 535 aspiration smoke detectors. The Palace's Administrative Commission, responsible for the building's maintenance, is highly complimentary of the technology presented by Securiton and of the installer's ability to adapt to the on-site security requirements and necessity to preserve the architectural features.
