Multi-sensor technology

The patented IPS analysis three-zone concept enables the monitoring of scenarios displaying similar human characteristics. The image is divided into various functional areas. This leads to a considerably more differentiated and more efficient observation of the task at hand.

The results are more rapid alarming, a precise stipulation of the alarm limit (trip wire) and maximum resistance to malfunction extending all the way to simplified friend-or-foe recognition.

This procedure is in extremely successful use across a wide range of applications such as for the monitoring of perimeter fences and facades or for the inner-city observation of public buildings where a great deal of motion and a high level of disturbance factors occur.

The functional diversity of the analytical functions available increases constantly in line with new market requirements. IPS VideoManager already supports a considerable number of different image analysis plug-ins: Activity Detection, Sabotage Detection, Indoor Detection, Outdoor Detection, Graffiti Detection, Loitering, FireVision and Dome Tracking – others are in development.
