« Introduction to Jamming »
The purpose of a jamming system is to suppress all unwanted wireless communication within a designated area. Wireless communication includes personal communication (GSM, UMTS/3G, satellite phone, radio transceiver) and data communication (WLAN, Bluetooth). For each communication network a specific signal generator, generating the jamming signal, is required.
Currently the system is supporting the following communication networks:
- GSM900
- GSM network of public providers in the 900 MHz frequency band.
- Jamming is applied to the downlink frequency band 921 – 960 MHz.
- GSM1800
- GSM network of public providers in the 1800 MHz frequency band.
- Jamming is applied to the downlink frequency band 1805 – 1880 MHz.
- UMTS/3G
- Communication network of the third generation
in the 2100 MHz frequency band. - Jamming is applied to the downlink frequency band 2110 – 2170 MHz.
- Communication network of the third generation
- THURAYA
- Satellite communication system in the 1500 MHz frequency band.
- Jamming is applied from 1525 – 1559 MHz.
Furthermore jamming systems can be configured as a fixed installation SecuriWall MJS (for prisons, places of worship, government buildings or industrial sites), as a semi-fixed installation (tents during an event) or in a mobile configuration SecuriWall CJS (convoys).
