Break-glass detectors

Acoustic break-glass detectors are mounted on to the ceiling in front of the window and use a microphone to monitor the pane of glass. By contrast GBM 41/42 break-glass detectors (integrated/standard glass) work as passive detectors and are fitted directly to the monitored glass. The highly sensitive sensors (piezoelectric converters) selectively evaluate typical break-glass and impact noises for different frequencies. By recognising ordinary tapping noises, etc., they ensure the highest possible security against false alarms. The detectors are sabotage-proof, easy to maintain and compatible with every loop system. What's more, an LED is used to signal alarms on each detector.
