Securiton at IDEX in Abu Dhabi

Held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, the 10th International Defence Exhibition and Conference was held in Abu Dhabi 20 - 24 February 2011.

The exhibition showed a record attendance with more than 60,000 visitors, 1060 exhibitors from 52 countries and over 100 official delegations. This was the 3rd year that Securiton participated in the exhibition and was one of the more than 15 Swiss companies that made-up the Swiss Pavilion. Chief of Staff of the Swiss Army Lt. Gen Andre Blattman and the Swiss Ambassador Mr. Wolfgang Bruelhart officially opened the Swiss Pavilion. Securiton Middle East (SMEE) was honored to have the Securitas Chairman, Mr. Samuel Spreng and Group Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Mr. Hans Winzenried present for the exhibition. IDEX was also an opportunity for the SMEE agents to sit down with the Chairman and Group CEO to discuss further development in the region.
