Exhibitions in Latin America

In the beginning of September Securiton participated at the Intersec 2010 exhibition, which took place in the Argentine Rural Fair Building in Buenos Aires. This show focuses on electronic security, fire detection and extinguishing systems, industrial safety and personal protection and brings together more than 180 Latin American companies operating in this market. From October 6 – 8 Securiton was present with a stand at the International Safety and Protection Show XVIII FISP in São Paulo, Brazil.

The show focuses on new technologies and market trends. On both occasions, Securiton presented its new modular and redundant fire detection system SecuriFire 3000 with SpiderNet technology. The TCP/IP option has been very well received, as has its design, including upgrades from old to new installations of large projects. The product impressed visitors, especially its redundancy – SecuriFire’s consistently redundant design achieves what no other system does: if the active system fails, the secondary system takes over full operations – seamlessly. This guarantees maximum availability, and any incipient fire is detected in a flash – even if the fire detection system is damaged due to several breaks in its wiring. The presentation of the new fire detection system has attracted a lot of visitors and should be leading to a lot of new projects in Latin America.
