Strong hollow tube grilles keep intruders out and escapees in. With Jailtec you are now even more secure: the electropneumatic detection system senses even the slightest interference with the grille and triggers an alarm. It's fast and it's precise.
Air as incorruptible detective
Jailtec consists of a cable terminal processor and a hermetically sealed pneumatic line. The line is conveyed from the cable terminal processor to the hollow tube grille and loops back again. Using state-of-the art technology, the system continuously checks the air volume in the grille and lines. When an irregularity is registered, the cable terminal processor triggers an alarm lightning fast.
Air change when sawing, bending, chiselling
If an intruder or escapee applies force to the hollow tube grille, the air volume in the sealed air circuit increases. The air volume is reduced if the pneumatic line is interrupted or bent. In both cases, Jailtec immediately alerts the alarm or building management system to which it is connected.
Rapid localisation, invulnerable to sabotage
The Jailtec cable terminal processor automatically parameterises and saves its target value during commissioning. The system is protected against faulty functioning caused by atmospheric pressure fluctuations and temperature differences: a throttle point built into the cable terminal processor prevents undesirable false alarms. It's also impossible to sabotage: any interference with the air and power lines immediately triggers an alarm. Pinpoint addressing of the individual grilles in the detection system enables extremely fast, targeted intervention by personnel.
