Detectors
Overview

A whole series of detectors is available for monitoring purposes. They detect either the perpetrator himself (noise, heat radiation, movement) or the changes he causes to the target object (vibration, heat, positional change).
The following detectors are used to monitor the outer shell (walls, windows/doors) of a building: alarm glass, break-glass detector, pneumatic screens, vibration and seismic detectors, magnetic and bolt contacts. They detect the intruder the moment he enters the premises.
Room monitoring involves the use of motion detectors that operate according to either ultrasonic, microwave or infrared principles. Motion detectors detect the intruder within the building, e.g. when he enters a high-security area.
Finally, the product range also includes manually triggered hold-up pushbuttons (banks, administrations) and, for special applications, picture alarm detectors (museums) and seismic detectors (vaults).
