Basics

Access control

Protecting people, data and property is more important than ever to dynamic businesses. During off-peak hours especially there is the danger that unauthorised persons could gain practically unrestricted access to company facilities. While an intrusion detection system protects your premises primarily at night and on weekends, an access control system protects your business during working hours. Moreover, when there is a great deal of activity on the premises an access control system separates authorised persons from unauthorised persons without disturbing operations.

The protection objectives are varied and refer to external as well as internal risks. You don't want your data, business documents or valuable objects to be stolen, copied or to become the target of spies. A complete EDP failure, unauthorised data access or manipulation, and vandalism must be prevented. These kinds of damage are most likely not covered by insurance. Sensitive areas of your enterprise must be protected.

Time recording

It makes sense to link the access control system to a time recording system. Bothersome hour sheets are a thing of the past. Up to date working time balances can be accessed whenever required. The possibilities for evaluation perfectly compliment and extend the basic functions while reducing administrative workloads.
