SecuriGate: the new-generation access control software with integrated Security Token Service
Most access control systems on the market today are essentially based on technology from the 1990s. But not SecuriGate. And there's a very good reason why: the user interface features the same logic and the same tools as the latest suite of Microsoft Office programs. Multifunction toolbars, drag-and-drop functions and list boxes are all intuitive to use, which reduces the familiarisation time and helps prevent errors. SecuriGate has a very visual look & feel: instead of just list displays the program works with clearly structured floor plans and video streams. Doors, warder locks and cameras can all be remote-controlled at the click of a mouse. All these simplifications mean that SecuriGate can easily be operated as a secondary task, for instance by a member of the reception staff.
SecuriGate offers maximum security and the convenience of a Security Token Service (STS). STS acts as an incorruptible gatekeeper within an authentication system. The Security Token is a digital key that authorises a person's access to SecuriGate. With STS, user rights are administered from a central highly secure location and can be issued or revoked in an instant. If a user is blocked, all his or her accesses to the SecuriGate application is also blocked within seconds, no matter how large the company network.
